Ilkley based designer and maker of bespoke furniture and kitchens

Our story

Ross started his journey into cabinet making 20 years ago straight out of school, working as an apprentice and along side his father in Bradford developing skills in joinery and hand-crafted windows and doors.

He developed his skills further working in Canada along side an Australian furniture maker which broadened his skills and knowledge.

Since being back in England Ross has continued to develop his own signature when it comes to wood work, taking influences from both Swedish and Japanese designs. He has an eye for the smaller details and precision in his work.

Now a husband and a father the business has become a family affair and we work as a team to run the business. With Ross running the workshop and all aspects of the manufacturing, Amy now looks after the office side of the business and may be the first person you speak to when you start your design process with us.

Both creative people, we love designing furniture for people’s homes and finding those small details that can really elevate a project and make it stand out from the crowd.

About the wood

The wood that we use is usually sourced from our local timber yard which lucky for us is just across the road, they source wood from around the UK but also have access to wood as locally sourced as Leeds and the Yorkshire Dales.

Wherever possible we try to use local timber and always try to create as little waste as possible from each job that we complete. The environment is important to us and working with trees is an amazing privilege that we do not take for granted.

“We’re so pleased with the finish and quality of our bespoke kitchen. We couldn’t be happier with the style, fit and appearance. We made the right choice in working with Ross to get a custom made and unique kitchen.”
